I am an explorer by nature. I enjoy traversing and examining many places, mindsets, new skills, new languages, and the science behind the way we act and interact with our world. I have always been intrigued with old and forgotten man made structures, and the process of nature reclaiming those spaces for her own. These places tell vivid stories in intricate layers filled with beauty, darkness, loneliness, and peace. There is great depth in the thoughts and questions that arise during the times that I quietly interrupt these abandoned spaces with my camera to document nature as she obscures these buildings into the past. Below, you will find some of the details that gave me pause and revealed that beauty is not equal to perfection, but rather, it is a reflection of your own mindset.
